Southern California Cosplay Photoshoot Locations

I’m working on putting together a resource for myself and other cosplayers of the various locations I’ve done photoshoots. The list will start off small, mainly centered around Orange County. but I’ll keep it updated as I find new areas. Most of these are nature based, as that’s where most of my costumes seem to fit best. Feel free to send me a message if you have a location to share or questions about these! Also note that stuff like hours and cost may change.

Canyon Park

970 Arbor St
Costa Mesa, CA 92627

Rating: 5/5

Parking/Entry Cost: Free

Hours:Sunrise to Sunset

Features:Trees, nature, bridge, small rubble, scary drainage ditch

Pros: Great for forest backgrounds, quiet, not too crowded. There’s a little bridge with some cool rubble nearby. There’s also some slightly more urban looking locations  with some sort of… drainage thing? It offers variety.

Cons: Can be kinda hard to find if you haven’t been there before. The entrance is in a neighborhood with parking on the street or in the tiny parking lot.
